Meet your dentists
Dale D. Batten, DMD, MAGD
Dr. Dale Batten has served the DeLand community since 1982, bringing over four decades of dental excellence to central Florida families. A University of Florida graduate (BS Chemistry 1975, Doctor of Dental Medicine 1979), Dr. Batten is a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry and recipient of their Lifetime Learning and Service Award.
His commitment extends beyond dentistry—he serves as Dental Director of the Good Samaritan Clinic and has been honored as a Paul Harris Fellow with DeLand Rotary, while serving on boards including the DeLand Museum of Art, YMCA, and American Cancer Society. Twice recognized as one of America's Top Dentists (2004, 2021), Dr. Batten balances his professional dedication with family life alongside his wife Susie, their three sons, and five grandchildren. When not in practice, he enjoys travel, photography, hunting, and fishing.
David K. Boules, DMD
Dr. Boules grew up in east-central Florida after his family immigrated from Egypt in the 1980s seeking a better life in America. A Spruce Creek High School graduate with an International Baccalaureate degree, he earned his Bachelor's in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida (2009) and his doctorate from Nova Southeastern College of Dental Medicine (2014).
Dr. Boules chose to return home to Port Orange to practice near his family and serve the community where he was raised. An active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Florida Dental Association, he pursues ongoing education in the latest dental techniques and is Invisalign certified with advanced training in implant placement. Dr. Boules finds deep fulfillment in meeting new patients and improving their quality of life through exceptional dental care.
